New Mexico FIRST® LEGO® League
 FIRST® LEGO® League Explore
FIRST LEGO League Explore is the middle of three divisions of FIRST LEGO League, created to inspire youth to experiment and grow their critical thinking, coding, and design skills through fun hands-on STEM learning and robotics.

Teams in grades 2-4 (ages 6-10)
  • investigate a challenge related to a real-world theme
  • design and build their solution as a group
  • use LEGO Education SPIKETM Essential or WeDo 2.0
  • code their team model to move and be interactive using sensors
  • are guided by FIRST Core Values
How to Participate in Explore

Form Your Team of 2-6 students (NM FLL & FIRST do not match children with existing teams)
Register your team with FIRST Team Registration System ($125)  FIRST Registration
Purchase a SPIKE Essential Kit ($319.95 - use Dashboard link)
OR
Use a WeDo 2.0 Kit
Participate in an official event - (see the Festivals page for NM FLL Festival information)
